  1. I wonder what will happen years from now when all these nude pics that were texted are all over the place. I'm not sure kids understand the ramifications. But then again, I am a fuddy duddy.

  2. I agree, you send these pictures to someone you trust, but you really never know who is going to see them or where they will end up or how they may come out at a later time to hurt or embarass you. Especially at a young age we really need to be careful.

    1. But this isnt a legal issue, as stated. Its "merely", and I use the term loosely, a violation of trust between two people. We are an overly litigious society who wants government out of our business but want to run and sue anytime there is a hint of money in the water. Men and women have been victims of misplaced trust in many areas, and times. To say there must
be a LAW to stand in place of COMMON SENSE for who to send
sex based texts to is a pretty powerful and sad testament to the sad state of values and morality prevalent in american society today. Jay.

  3. Jay- This has become a legal issue when the violation of trust between an 18 year old boy and his 15 year old girlfriend exchange nude photos whether it gets out to the public or not. It is seen as child pornography in the eyes of the law. Thus, in many cases poor 18 year old boys are just getting their girlfriend's nakey pictures and then if her parents find out, he then needs to register as a sex offender.

  4. Im a strong believer in the theory that technology is going to be the decline of what sex is really about ! With that being said.. sexting just isnt my style.. it lacks imagination. I am a tactile and sensory type person.. I need to hear.. not read.. its simply not sexy! Imagine ur at dentist when he texts u dirt stuff..u reply.. trying to be sexy.. I just dont get it.. now with that being said kids belong playing with barbies or bikes.. not sending naked pics that will get leaked or having sex .. one of the many reasons my teenager doesnt have a cell.. once those pics r up its a wrap.. u dont get them back! I hear about it all the time.. high school kids doing it..then when they break up sending those pics to whole school! Things of this nature (sexting) shpuld be left.to the adults!!!
